'Every Blazer Plants a Tree' Campaign
From November 2023, every blazer we sell through our independent schoolwear retailer network will feature a swing ticket to highlight that 'This Blazer plants a tree'.
It is our aim, in partnership with Ecologi, to plant 1 million trees within 3 years, and our passion to help the planet doesn't stop here...
The only UK schoolwear provider to be working with Ecologi
We like being at the forefront of pushing the environmental barrier when it comes to school uniform and so we are proud to be the only school uniform supplier to be working with Ecologi to help support planting more trees around our precious planet.
What does Ecologi do?
Ecologi provide simple and impactful climate solutions for SMEs. they are B Corp Certified and they work with tree planting partners around the world to help reduce the impact of climate change.
Working with trusted partners such as the Eden Reforestation Projects, they ensure that the planting process is responsible, ethical and transparent.
We've teamed up with Ecologi
We have chosen to work with Ecologi - a social enterprise who have, as of September 2023, worked to fund over 65 million trees. We are delighted to be one of the SMEs, and the only UK school uniform supplier, to be working with them.

what we do for the planet
When it comes to the planet we really do care! We know a good quality school uniform can be used many times and other than putting a lot of effort into making sure each garment we produce is made with long standing quality we also make sure the raw materials that go into the product are as environmentally friendly as they can be.
Where possible we use regenerative materials and if not we then use recyclable materials with transparency throughout the supply chain.

We also take great care when it comes to looking after our other stakeholders - mainly our staff and our own suppliers including our partner factories based in Bangladesh.
Ethical trading is a core value for our business, whether transparent pricing throughout the supply chain or making sure that garments are made in a socially acceptable manner.
We are proud to produce our garments in our partner factories in Bangladesh that only meet the internationally recognised Ethical Trade Initiative (ETI) code of practice and with this in mind we have been a SEDEX member for a number of years.

Trousers
Trousers were the first product we sold back in 1977. The development of this product has come along way since then and not only in terms of durability and quality but also our environmental credentials, where all raw materials come from sustainably sourced recycled material.
Skirts and Dresses
From 2023 all stock items are made using raw materials from sustainably sourced recycled materials.
From straight forward straight back vent navy senior girls skirts to a more complicated junior bib pinafore in grey tartan every product is sustainably and ethically sourced.
Shirts and Blouses
We were the first schoolwear supplier to take all of the plastic out of the packaging other than the polybag (which helps you see the product) but we've made sure the polybag uses sustainably sourced recycled content.
Blazers
Our stock blazers are made using durable and practical recycled polyester fabric.
Both the outer fabric and inner lining fabric use polyester from recycled PET bottles and our Teflon EcoElite finish keeps them looking smart while being kinder to the environment.
Hangers, swing tickets and garment bags all use recycled and sustainably sourced materials.
